LANGUAGE PROGRAMS

Each week 6EBA broadcasts in over 80 languages. How do we broadcast in so many languages? Many broadcasters will speak in more than one language throughout their program.

STATION PROGRAMS

6EBA broadcasts a range of special interest programs from the Maylands and North Perth studios. These include English language youth programs, with young people from the University of WA, Edith Cowan University and Murdoch University.  6EBA Maylands is also the home to the popular indigenous program, Whadjuk Radio. A number of station programs are broadcast from the North Perth studio, some of these include Ethnic Ability, Moonlight Session, the World of Art, etc. To see a full list of Station programs, please click here.


Moonlight Session

stay awake with your host Milijana Vojnovic (Mili) and a myriad of guests, musicians and informative/ educational/ motivational topics every Monday night. World music, alternative sounds and feel-good tunes.

Produced and presented by Peter Jeffrey, Dea Lalovic and a team of volunteers, bringing you interviews from the world of art. Fridays 4 - 5pm

with Verity Haring, Alex Pond and Adrian Watson. Entertaining topics and newest hits. Great show to start the working day with - Thursdays 9-10am

"South Sudanese Students" Thursday morning

with Alex Lukare, Emmanuel Lopit Onesimo and guest hosts. Bringing you the best Sudanese and African music. Relaxed, entertaining and loved by the listeners - Thursdays 10-11am

"The Somali Show" Sunday evening

with Yaasin Yusuf, Omar Hassan and guest hosts - Sundays 10-10:30pm

"Asian Takeaway Radio " Tuesday mornings 

Asian culture, popular songs and relevant topics. Brought to you by Asian students who will bring their culture closer to the English audience, young and old - Tuesdays 9-10am

AGM 2009 elects New Management Council

The Multicultural Radio & Television Association of WA Inc. held its Annual General Meeting this year on the 18th October 2009. The venue was the Floreat Athena Soccer Club where over 100 members, their guests and friends attended the meeting, followed by a luncheon prepared by the Club's chef Mr. Peter Kalogeracos allowing members to socialize, relax and catch up.

The Australian Albanian Society of Perth Inc. hit the air waves with their first program this Friday 11th September 2009. The Association incorporated in June 2007 with a registered office in Dianella aims to bring the Albanian Community together, assist people to find work, housing and maintain its culture by promoting regular family gatherings with a particular focus on assisting its older citizens.

The "Sikh Sangeet" program is run by volunteers from the Sikh Association of WA Inc. Heading up a team 7 volunteers is Mr.Amrit Pal Singh who is the Senior Producer. The program goes to air every Thursday 7am. The language is Panjabi. Why not tune in to 6EBA-FM 95.3 World Radio and be entertained too?
