Hi everyone and welcome to the Cypriot Community Radio Programme of West Australia. Our programme has been running since the beginnings of 6EBAFM so we have been around for a long time.

Our programme is partly funded and sponsored by the Cypriot Community of West Australia and by the Community Broadcasting Foundation and is the “voice” of the Community to all of it’s members and all Greek speaking people.

Our aims are to promote The Cypriot Culture and Traditions. We broadcast news and special events from Cyprus, Cultural and Political News, and Historical and Religious Commemorative Festivals which are celebrated overseas and here in Australia. Local Community announcements and information that is useful to our listeners is also broadcast weekly.

We use the station's talk back facility for interviews, competitions, reciting poetry, personal announcements and for our listeners to request songs.

We aim to please all our listeners by playing a wide range of Greek Music from Cypriot Folk to today’s ‘Greek Beat’.

So tune in and enjoy the program says Stella Constantinou, Program Co-ordinator
