The CBAA is the peak body for community radio and televisionstations. We provide leadership, advocacy and support for our membersto actively provide independent broadcasting services and to build andstrengthen local communities.


The Community Broadcasting Foundation is an independent non-profit funding agency that solicits and distributes funds for the maintenance and development of community broadcasting in Australia including specialist services for Ethnic, Indigenous and Radio for the Print Handicapped audiences.

The McNair Ingenuity Community Radio Listenership Survey results were released earlier this month at Parliament House and showed an increase from 47% of Australians (aged 15+) listening to community radio every month in 2006, to 57% in 2008

Niki is taking part in the Rotary Group Study Exchange which sees people from different cultures and countries meet up with others in their profession whilst developing professional and leadership skills and travelling the world.
