NAIDOC funding for outside broadcast

The Department of Indigenous Affairs has approved funding to for a live outside broadcast from a NAIDOC event in July this year.


Michelle Roberts, Minister for Indigenous Affairs today sent through her congratulations today on 6EBA’s success in the 2007 NAIDOC funding submission.

The grant will enable 6EBA’s Whadjuk Radio to broadcast live from the NAIDOC Family Day on Thursday June 12 from Ashfield Reserve, Ashfield.

Kylie Farmer and Ethel Wallam will be presenting this special edition of Whadjuk Radio, with special guests from the NAIDOC Family Day featured on the program.
